Our family-run property management by the Fux family has been offering apartments for short- and long-term stays in Augsburg since 1991. Former offices, retail and storage spaces were gradually converted into an apartment house with furnished apartments in Augsburg. The authenticity of the 17th-century building has been preserved and can still be seen today in the stucco ceilings, elegant staircases, exposed beams and many other details.

Modern soundproof windows and doors ensure peace and quiet right in the city center. Our fire safety concept, implemented in 2023, provides additional security – a significant advantage, especially in a historic building.

Sustainability in the city center: PV system & battery storage

Listed buildings face particular ecological challenges – which makes us even more proud to be the first rental property in Augsburg’s city center to install a photovoltaic system on the roof, combined with battery storage in the basement. This allows us to combine historic old-town charm with a sense of environmental responsibility.

Our decades of experience with the concept of “temporary living” help us understand exactly what guests and tenants need in order to feel comfortable. Fux Altstadt Apartments Augsburg offer accommodation for 1–5 guests, each apartment featuring a private bathroom with shower/WC and a kitchen.

All apartments are equipped with bed linen, television, towels, coffee and tea makers, coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave, radio and Wi-Fi internet access.

We rent out 6 apartments for 1–5 guests. The living spaces range from 35 to 120 square meters.

Altstadt Apartments – history

Not far from the Art Nouveau public baths (built in 1903, renovated between 1986 and 1992) lies a medieval network of five narrow alleys between “Sparrenlech” and “Am Rösslebad”. At the heart of this romantic corner is the property “Drittes Quergäßchen 1” – a bourgeois house from the 16th century, complemented by a 19th-century carriage house and an inner courtyard with Mediterranean flair. Located within sight below the old city wall of the cathedral district, the area historically belongs to the expansion of the Jakobervorstadt dating back to the 14th century. Its location – just a five-minute walk to the city center – leaves nothing to be desired.
